We focus our new construction projects as in-fill homes in established Chicagoland communities. These homes are designed around the multi-functional lifestyle requirements of today's busy families.

Remodeling and Renovation

We believe that in many cases new construction is not the answer to a growing familiy’s needs. We use creative space planning to redesign or expand existing homes to provide the necessary solution.

Historic Preservation

Our company is rooted in a deep appreciation of classic architecture. We embrace projects that require the research, knowledge, teamwork and sensitivity necessary to successfully complete a historic preservation project. We were awarded the Oak Park Historic Preservation Commission ‘2011 Historic Preservation Award for Rehabilitation/Addition’ for a project we completed on a home originally built at the turn of the 20th century.

Energy Efficiency

Thomas Patrick Homes president Tom Sundling was one of the first builders in the nation to be recognized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as a Certified Green Building Professional. This certification exemplifies the philosophy of responsible green building that Thomas Patrick Homes has always embraced. Additionally, every house that we build is an Energy Star certified home.
